BOGA - BELLINGHAM OB/GYN

This project received the 2013 Northwest AIA Design Award

Our goal was to design a relaxing, beautiful, and contemporary clinic for the Doctors, staff, and their patients at Bellingham Ob/Gyn (BOGA). The Doctors’ desired an efficient and positive work environment for the staff, and a space that will create an uplifting experience for potentially stressed patients, while also celebrating the joy for expecting parents. An organic pendant light hangs from the high-ceiling entrance, while a custom Gingko leaf curved partition creates privacy at the front desk. The waiting area features a golden ripple-effect sculptural wall, warm finishes, calming scenic art, and an abundance of natural light. The corridors and exam rooms feature warm hospitality finishes, including vinyl wood plank flooring, warm fabrics and wall coverings, fresh colors, and soft lighting.
