PEARL CLINIC, PHARMACY, & GIFT SHOP

Portland Pearl District’s first alternative health clinic, pharmacy and gift shop was designed to exude a tranquil, relaxing, Eastern healing environment. The late 1800’s Wells Fargo Transfer Station had been through a fire, and was completely renovated to provide offices for doctors, acupuncturists, and massage therapists, patient exam rooms, reception, restrooms, a pharmacy and gift shop. Keeping with the strict Gold LEED Certified building requirements set by the Building Owner, the space features environmental and sustainable materials such as bamboo, certified sustainable woods, reclaimed original wood flooring, and recycled glass and tile. A new custom copper water feature provides the tranquil sounds of trickling water, and filled in the existing arched opening to their adjacent neighbor.
